Hello, I’m Anne-Marie, and with 23 years of accounting experience, I bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the table.
Throughout my career, I have spent 17 years working in various accountancy practices. During this time, I not only honed my skills as an accountant but also took on the role of a trainer, imparting knowledge and guidance to new staff members. I am proud to have been part of a top 10 accountancy firm, where I had the opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of the organization.
In addition to my practice experience, I have also worked in the industry for 6 years. I have gained valuable insights and practical knowledge by working with diverse companies, including a mortgage company, SEO company, and windows and doors company. This industry exposure has allowed me to broaden my perspective and deepen my understanding of the accounting needs specific to different sectors.
I hold a full qualification with AAT (Association of Accounting Technicians) and possess the ATT self-assessment qualification, further enhancing my professional credentials. Additionally, I have expertise in various accounting software systems, including QuickBooks Pro, Sage accounts, Free agent software, and VT accounting software. These skills enable me to leverage technology effectively to streamline processes and deliver accurate financial solutions.
Specializing in various areas, including training in bookkeeping and accounting software, I have developed a keen understanding of the unique requirements of limited companies. I am well-versed in Companies House compliance and possess expertise in self-assessments. Additionally, I have extensive knowledge of specific industries such as construction industry scheme, quarries, retail, demolition, hairdressing and beauty, and window fitting.
I am excited to be part of the DLR Accounting team, where excellence and client satisfaction are at the forefront of everything we do. I am committed to delivering exceptional service, and I look forward to collaborating with our clients, helping them navigate the intricacies of accounting and achieve their financial objectives.
I am Charley and I have been working in Administration for just over 23 years. My working life started as a HR Administrator working my way up to HR Assistant and gaining my first level qualification in CPP. I moved from this position to work in a more Personal Assistant / Team Administration role at The Environment Agency and at a later stage IBM, where I was the point of contact not only for the Managers or Team Leaders but also for various members within the teams.
These roles required problem solving skills, time management of project deadlines, holding myself and others accountable as well of having a working knowledge of the project, it’s goals and what needed to be completed for the projects/ job’s success. These and many other Skills are what I have learnt throughout my working life and is what I bring to DLR. I have been working at DLR since September 2021 and since then I have been implementing new systems to increase efficiency with handling people’s information and to ensure a smoother flow of data between ourselves and our clients. I am particularly proud of the integration of Senta within the business, which I feel enables our clients to upload their documents and details in a way that is more convenient and accessible to them, as well as keeping it secure.
Donna and I have been working on several other ideas, that will continue to improve our interaction with our clients making every step count because DLR’s Motto is “Where People Count”, this is something that we believe in and something that is very important to all of us here at DLR Accounting Solutions.
Hello, I am Lynne and the newbie of the DLR team!
I joined the Team in January 2024 after a long career holding various book-keeping, finance and administrative roles covering various industries, including Child Protection, Care Homes Services and more recently Accountancy Practice.
I have enjoyed gaining a wealth of knowledge along the way and have acquired all-round skills, including book-keeping, payroll, business administration, management accounts and statutory accounts production, HR, I.T. systems and facilities management.
My early days saw me as an office junior working for a large vending machine company, where I quickly progressed to Office Manager within a few years and ‘girl Friday’ to the Management Team.
As my experience and confidence grew, I found myself leaning more towards the finance side of business and decided to study. I became fully AAT qualified in 1998.
Some of the roles I have held have seen me wear quite a few different hats, but this has only endeavoured to bring me the skills and knowledge to enable me to be quite versatile and able to adapt to many new ways of working.
My last few years working in accountancy practice have given me exposure to a variable client base, including property management and development companies.
I am hopeful that I will become a valuable addition to the DLR team and will endeavour to provide the best possible service I can to the team and clients.
